Nicole Chernow Jay Martinez

Nicole has been a pioneer in internet application development for over twenty years.  As the internet began, with the first web browser, at the University of California, Nicole was trained in client/server technologies using TCP/IP at the UCSD Library.  As the internet continued to emerge, she began applying her new skills to the UCSD Library's infrastructure, creating one of the first intranets.  Though web programming software was in its infancy,  this intranet project grew to house a cutting edge data warehouse which eliminated 85% of the administrative overhead for six libraries.  During and after this position, Nicole has worked in database engineering, business process automation, information systems (IS) project management, IS team leadership, IS Department Management, Director of Information Systems, and as a Business Systems Consultant writing software specifications..
